WATER TECHNICIAN

The Job Duties Of A Water Technician Is To Run And Maintain Industrial Pumps, and Accessories To Transfer Large Volumes Of Water

The job duties of a water technician include safely and successfully rigging up and rigging down equipment for transferring water, using and operating heavy equipment. The job requires, heavy lifting and being outdoor for hours at a time. 

Whitewater’s primary business is water transfer and dewatering. Dewatering is the process of safely removing subsurface, and  ground water from construction sites, filtering it and returning it to the environment. Water transfer is moving large volumes of water using kilometers of lay-flat hoses and industrial pumping equipment from one point to another; for example temporarily diverting rivers or creeks, for bridge construction.
