HSE Administrator

White Water Management is looking for an experienced and highly organized Administrator, based out of our Innisfail or Calgary office, who will provide support in all areas related to health, safety, environment, quality, training and compliance across all our divisions. This position reports to the HSE Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, energetic disposition, proactive attitude, and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up, inputting, and maintaining employee files in Workhub and SiteDocs
  • Upkeep prequalification registries (ISN, Avetta, Comply Works)
  • Support the event investigation process
  • Maintain HSE manuals and display a proficient understanding of the HSE standards
  • Develops and maintain key HSEQ performance metrics
  • Insurance claim submission and follow up
  • HSEQ form review
  • Complete project bid prequalification information with HSE statistics
  • Create Safety Bulletins for company distribution
  • WCB claim administration
  • Support modified work process
  • Oversee Fleet Complete (driver GPS System) and driver scorecard development
  • Maintain and enter safety training certificates, competencies, and documentation in safety management system
  • Arrange out-sourced training (Fall Protection, H2S Alive, First Aid, etc.)
  • Prepare Safety Documentation for Audit
  • Distribute, order and maintain safety gear inventory
  • Support the onboarding process and orientation
  • Support and lead the office safety program
  • Other administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of two years of experience in a HSE administrator role
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Health and Safety Administrator or NCSO certified is considered an asset
  • Experience in upkeeping compliance in ISN, Avetta and ComplyWorks
  • Experience in Workhub and SiteDocs is an asset
  • Proficient in various computer programs; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook is required
  • Valid driver’s license and Driver’s Abstract is required
  • Ensures confidentiality and discretion of employee and work issues
