FILTRATION OR TREATMENT OF WATER

FILTRATION OR TREATMENT OF WATER

Industry terminology such as filtration, sediment management, and treatment are all used to describe the cleansing of fluids of their component or contaminant content. Whitewater gives solutions to specific problems, and those solutions are provided through comprehensive systems.

Filtration is a procedure where a liquid passes through a membrane called a filter to separate out suspended particles. After filtering, the liquid is termed the filtrate. Whitewater uses a variety of filter materials, including paper, cloth, sand, and anything else that is porous.

The company provides sediment control tanks and filter socks, and carbon bed filtration tanks or cartridges where hydrocarbon removal is necessary.

Design engineers working at Whitewater aid customers in determining which solution works best for each project, as site characteristics vary and so do the solutions. The variety of materials makes it easier to choose the most effective option.

The two basic types of mixes are homogeneous and heterogeneous. Homogeneous means a combination in which every part is same. A heterogeneous combination is one in which the components are not evenly distributed. Various gases, including oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and water vapor, compose the air we breathe.

Homogeneous mixes are occasionally referred to as solutions; this is especially true when a solid is dissolved in a liquid, whereas a heterogeneous mixture is similar to sand in water. Because the sand is undissolved, it remains mixed with the whole substance, making it impossible to distribute uniformly. Heterogeneity is achieved by adding a sand or salt combination, both of which will settle to the bottom of the bottle. To cleanse and isolate combinations of these different sorts of pollutants, several types of filters are utilized. You can employ filters of varying pore diameters based on the size of the contaminant: large or tiny.

SERVICES FOR FILTRATION

The design team at Whitewater can create a system that manages particle and dewatering particulate removal as well as systems that address the presence of hydrocarbon or hydrocarbon sheen. Whitewater’s specialized hydrocarbon removal filtration systems are provided, installed, and monitored by our in-house engineering solution team.

WATER TREATMENT AND IRON REMOVAL SERVICES

The experienced engineers and designers at Whitewater have significant design experience in the areas of pollutant treatment, non-hazardous material management, and water treatment—our team enables us to create customized solutions to meet project needs in both temporary and semi-permanent applications. Our staff of qualified on-site service specialists may continue to maintain site conditions and give detailed reports once the WMS equipment and advertising team are in place.

Whitewater creates unique supports for any kind of situation. Our experienced team can provide customized solutions for all your water quality treatment needs, such as removing sediments, dissolving iron, heavy metal treatment, organic and inorganic, high-flow and low-flow. With several unique media applications to consider, such as activated carbon, ion exchange resin beds, or backwash type sand filters, our WMS system is capable of implementing a broad selection of creative solutions. WMS has activated carbon cartridge containers, silt bags, bag filters and other ancillary facilities besides our sand filters.
